  • NHS NORTH WEST LONDON CLINICAL COMMISSIONING GROUP (CCG)
NHS North West London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) was a clinically led organisation responsible for planning, buying and monitoring most of the health services used by our residents. Formed on 1 April 2021, it covered the London boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.  The NHS NW London CCG ceased to exist on 16th June 2022 and the Integrated Care Systems Board (ICSB) will henceforth, manage its functions.
  • INTEGRATED CARE SYSTEMS (ICS)
There are currently lots of changes occurring in the local health facilities as a result of the 2022 Health & Care Act. NHS organisations, over larger areas, are coming together to form Integrated Care Systems (ICS). There are 42 Integrated Care Systems across England. The Integrated Care Board (ICB) will manage each ICS. They have new powers and responsibilities. The Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) have now been incorporated in the ICS. Services now have to work more closely together including Health, Social Care and local authorities. Staff and the community will need to work differently. The Care Quality Commission monitors the quality of the services that are being provided by various parts of the NHS.
