Due to the current situation with Coranavirus, we have decided we must postpone our AGM which was scheduled for Thursday 23rd April at Northwood Methodist Church, Oaklands Gate.

You can still download the full Agenda for the postponed meeting,  please click here.

Item 10 on the Agenda is to consider proposed changes to the Association's Constitution.
The Constitution contains the rules and regulations which govern the working of the Association in general meetings and at committee and sub-committee level. It was last revised in 2015.

Currently the Constitution states that, in general, members must live in the Borough of Hillingdon. The executive committee wishes to propose the introduction of Associate Membership to enable us to enrol residents from the area of Hertfordshire that lies within the HA6 post code area. From time to time we receive applications from such residents who would like to join the NRA; they consider Northwood to be their town and are concerned with any developments that take place there.

Associate Members would not have voting rights, but by paying a subscription would receive newsletters, be able to attend AGMs and register for email bulletins.

A copy of the Constitution showing the necessary changes to allow for Associate Membership is available to download here. The changes need to be approved by a majority vote at the AGM.

If you have any queries on what is proposed, we would be pleased to clarify any points. Please contact us on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or telephone the chairman on 01923 821237.
