NRA Pops-up Again
- Details
If you happened to be in Green Lane on Saturday 7th September around midday, you would have seen two gazebos erected near the War Memorial. The blue gazebo was occupied by the Northwood Safer Neighbourhoods Team giving crime prevention advice, whilst the green one housed members of the NRA Executive Committee handing our light refreshments to passers-by. By all accounts it was a great community event with plenty of shoppers stopping for a chat, a number of whom asked when we would be popping up again - watch this space!
Thanks to committee member Emma Brown who masterminded the event.

TfL Proposals - Update
- Details
Curtin & Co have sent us an update, see below. They will be delivering a leaflet with the same message to all Northwood residents.
WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE NORTHWOOD STATION REDEVELOPMENT?
We want to thank everyone for coming to the exhibitions and for continuing to comment on the Northwood proposals.
This feedback is very helpful and we are now assessing and considering these comments closely.
We are currently reviewing all options and will respond to the issues raised in due course. As a result, the anticipated April submission date has been delayed. Once the full review has been undertaken, we will continue to keep residents and stakeholders informed of our progress and our next steps.
We are committed to delivering this brownfield site to provide much needed new and affordable homes in the area alongside step-free access to the station and other transport improvements.
